A little parcel. A big moment.
A crew steps ashore after weeks at sea. In the mess room, a stack of Christmas parcels waits, warm socks, a handwritten card, a few treats to share. It’s a small bag that says something huge: you’re not forgotten.
Across Canada, our stations are turning into dockside workshops. Volunteers are wrapping, labeling, and getting gifts ship-side right when crews can actually receive them. From Atlantic swells to Pacific harbours (and every Great Lakes lock in between), your generosity becomes a connection.
What goes in a parcel?
Think practical + cheerful:
- Warm socks, gloves, toques
- Toiletries (travel-size), lip balm, hand cream
- Snacks/chocolate (individually wrapped), tea/coffee
- Puzzle books, pens, postcards
- A short note or card (crew love these!)
